if this is the case can the previous game be back dated cloone? since we know people are able to carry over games i don't see why techno should have a bye from the first round now the member is back.

worst luck ever don't know how i won. lagged twice in general where it tapped white, fouled 3 times, 1 time a random as lag stopped me shooting.

People aren't able to carry over games. eggfriedrice was not available full stop, whereas the other two were around and just kept missing each other. So I would be inclined to say no. In addition, techno technically doesn't get a bye; as I am also keeping track of how many games each player plays, other players will receive byes to allow players who have played fewer games to catch up.

HOWEVER.... leave it with me.

Crikey, that's all the game played! So... seeing that eggfriedrice is back, I may 1) issue him with a reprieve, and reschedule his game vs techno, and 2) set the next batch of fixtures, either today or tomorrow.

Actually, as for 1) above, yes I will. techno vs eggfriedrice re-becomes a fixture, and the deadline for this fixture is... Thursday week, October 20th, same deadline as the next lot of games.



That said, I made a mistake with the ranking table on page 4 by crediting techno with a game played (and a game won) when in fact he hadn't played one... That was my mistake.

Everyone please check the table to make sure I haven't incorrectly eliminated anyone or given someone a defeat they don't have.

all now seems to be up to date, i think the next set should be handed out now IMO, however you need to have the time to be able to do so.


On another note i do feel that is the right thing to be doing i hope neither of you hold that against me but if the game can now be played i see no reason as to why it shouldn't be.

true however if your like me and damien we don't play pool a lot (mostly for fun or an event game) so got to bare that in mind too

you'll always aim to get your games done, that's the point of it. If you are given a game you will aim to play it unless serious family issues or a computer/game fault which doesn't allow this in which case extended time may be given.

Interesting discussion on Funkypool philosophy here...! Right, the next set of games will be drawn at http://www.chatzy.com/517667291032 shortly, with the deadline next Wednesday week. The way the thing has worked out, there are 7 unbeaten players (including one who has played 0 games) and 7 players on one defeat. So I'll draw six out of the 7 players first into three fixtures, and the 7th player will then be thrown in with the 7 beaten players, and those eight players will create four more games, for a total of 14 players playing in 7 games (+ the eggfriedrice vs techno game).
