Has anyone had it where your playstation stops and then won't start again and you get the yellow light of death as i believe they call it. I got it last week and i can't even get me game out lol

Just wondered if anyone knows about it and can offer any advice etc. Already got a new ps3 and im gonna see if i can get someone to switch the hard drive etc and get the game out if nothing comes of this.

Already stated i got a new PS3 lol. I was just wodnering if anyone else has had this and what they were able to do about it if anything or if they know of this happening.

or look in local phone book n get some1 ta fix it for u

had xbox for years never had it plus i no 3 different ways to sort it

1- dont open box
2- dont plug in if u do open box
3- dont play on it if u do plug it in

One of the most common causes for the yellow light on the PS3 is the overheating(something x-box suffers from a lot). I suggest you contact Sony repair centre.

You could get an X-box, but you might need to stick Microsoft on speed dial

Yeah sony replair thing seems to cost a lot though so i never bothered. I decided to just get a new one and im gonna see someone i know who is very good with stuff like this to get black ops out and see if he can change me hard drive. If he can fix it fair do's and in that case anyone wanna ps3 lmao?

Happened to my old one mate, take it apart like i did you will then get to disc reader. screws hold it in place take them out and game should release. If you bang it or throw it game will get destroyed trust me haha

if you dont know how to take it apart im sure there is a few youtube videos that can show you as there is Xbox ones.

Ill take the PS3 and fix it haha needs re-programmed, my one is total dead haha sledge hammer fun cant still use the net on it haha

No, my playstation is one of the old ones when they came out where most of them would do the yellow light thing but i never really used it enough for it to breakdown haha. But when it has worked it's been great tbh. Sometimes the fan gets a bit heavy so i assume it's sumin to do with that possibly.

i had trouble with game not loaded i have old type
what i done was on ps3 hold power button in for few seconds itl nock on then off then do same again thyen a menu came up
i cant remember what it is but u can do a few things on it

It won't even do that. Literally can't do anything with it no matter what buttons i hold lol.

Get a hairdryer on full power and blow on it on the back fan for 20 minutes move it side to side so you dont melt it den when u done that get a fan or change the hairdryer to cold setting then blow on the back fan with that for 20 minutesthe leave it for 10 mins then shud work m8

4 month too late, i decided to carefully smash it up and get the disk out lol. I took the hard drive and the disk and chucked the shattered peices of my last 3 years hard work and spread the ashes on the beach. It's what it would have wanted lol
