if videos longer than 30 minutes you will need to do it in parts, last time i tried in windows movie maker i failed miserably

My step dad has put recording thing on desktop for me can record up to 30 minutes, cant remember name of it though

im unsure, try xp one first, if not try camtasia modification on vista one but some you should find on hypercam, not really tried fraps.
