current format

Group stages: First to 3 in 9ball,8ball,8uk and straight.First to 5 in 9arcade and 8arcade.
Round 2:First to 4 in 9ball, 8 ball, 8uk and straight.First to 5 in 9 arcade and 8 arcade.
Quarters:First to 5 in 9ball,8ball,8uk and straight.First to 5 in 9 arcade and 8 arcade.
Semi finals:First to six in every disipline (apart from killer)
Final:First to 7 in all disiplines (except killer).

My proposed format

Group stages: First to 1 in straight. First to 2 in 9ball,8ball,8uk.First to 3 in 9arcade and 8arcade.
Round 2: First to 1 in straight. First to 3 in 9ball, 8 ball, 8uk and First to 4 in 9 arcade and 8 arcade.
Quarters: 2 frames of straight. First to 3 in 9ball,8ball,8uk and First to 5 in 9 arcade and 8 arcade.
Semi finals:First to 4 in every disipline (apart from killer) and first to 2 in straight
Final:First to 5 in all disiplines (except killer) and first to 3 in straight
