I just did, it was to win the semi fianl of the 9ball tourney, my oppennat was about 821. I was in the library anyway so it was hard for me to concentrate as I always get put off in the library but I missed a shot which I normally would have got and it cost me the round, those ranking and tourney points maybe the 3rd toureny I would have won.
Oh well what can you do

You always seem to be "put off in the library" when you miss, libraries are quiet anyways? So how can you be "put off".

Solution: Just stop going to the library if it's off putting then, Get internet.

Well said. I used to go to the library every day to play pool. I got fed up of distractions (like people playing music without headphones and kids shouting and screaming) and only being able to get online for 2 hours per day. Bought a dongle a few months ago. Best £20 I ever spent.

As I said on one of your previous threads - for every problem there is always a solution. You need to sort it out yourself instead of creating useless threads every other week

Was there really that much of a distraction at a library smurf? Surely that library is not under control. At ours its all silent, you're not allowed to speak.

But yes, good idea getting your own dongle/broadband.

It can get pretty noisey, especially as there is toddlers read & play classes on most days - right next to where the computers are

Strange. Considering you can only use the computers for a maximum of 2 hours per day (might be different in other libraries, but that's the rules in my local library) Hardly worth it tbh and not a good use of money
