Hello I entered 14.30 UK Mara tourny, I was 2-1 up when my opponent left room.. He didn't get DQ till the time ran out so we were both DQ..

Clearly a glitch somewhere... I can't see if I lost points as profiles still sick

Where both players are DQ, normally results with no loss of points.

Happened to me before, was in a quarter final i get that far once in a blue moon

Apologies about this, this is a known problem that occurs when an opponent leaves having just won a frame.

I had to go somewhere and was worried I'd be stuck in room forever I got over it though so alls cool.. Thanks

Seems to still be a problem , i was just in the straight speed final when the game froze after my opponents shot we both waited a few minutes then i decided to leave the room and let him have the win , i logged back in and he was still in the room , no default awarded so he left . Iv just looked in my results and the game isn't in there ?

still a problem happen twice to me today in a row first in 8 ball then 3/4 way through a game in 8 arcade.

He left without having won a game, I got awarded the frame and it's stuck on 1-0
If I try and leave the room says 'please wait tournament game room is still active'

Apologies.

The changes today were quite a large code changes for the back end although ideally with minimal affects for players. The patch was made to address the stuck in room errors, it is now both more consistent and rearranged to avoid the timing error which caused this problem.

Being more consistent in this area means that any (new) problem will occur more often, however this means it will be much easier to track down and fix. I will investigate, and there will be another patch tomorrow.

Cheers nick, can you do something about people fluking the 9 ball against me too thats 3 today!

Thanks to the detailed description of the problem I easily was able to reproduce and fix this problem and will patch tomorrow. Until then this may occur across all pool games when opponent leaves early.
