13th prestige (thats 10+3 and not actual 13th)

Few Call of Duty changes today.

- Overwatch map got added last night/this morning

- Clan Operations are Open and if your in a clan an event will start Friday Night around 11 pm and end 3 hours later, objective is for the clan to have most Captures or Defends in that time limit on CORE Domination, clan to do that will gain 2,500 XP for their clan on Elite.

- 5 New Prestige Badges has been added to Modern Warfare 3.

Overwatch map, is that a free-add on /update or DLC?

free for Elite users same as the Piazza/Liberation. you can buy elite for 4000 MSP or around £35 i think.

Think i'll pass. Way too expensive, like buying the game two times. Can't believe Call of Duty can price things like that - but hey, everyone will still buy it i guess... /:

i haven't its tempting because my mates all play on it and i have to go into HC team tac alone lol.

Oh and rumour is that Black Ops 2 will be released in November, and Call of Duty people on Twitter are asking what people want etc.

I think i have preferred Treyarch Call of Duty to Infinity Ward although the Killstreak Packages is genius

true when i asked dad to get it he explained it to me then Metal Gear Solid came out so went for that instead

Even those hardened editions, they charge £70. Yet they're already probably in the top 3 most successful gaming industries ever. Every other game released averages £30-40, but CoD Series make it £45. It's strange...

But anyways, not played this game in about 3 weeks now as the friend I played with traded it in so looks like I won't even put the game disc back in my xbox for weeks. Well saying that, I'm hardly on the xbox just now anyway. Go through stages! Will have a look, seen map pack is being released to public soon and I think I have 1500MSP sitting in my account. Spend it on fifa or MW3 i'm not too sure yet!

true but if your into Map Packs Elite is worth it as before they would charge you 1200 MSP where as Elite you get them free.

one thing what disappoints me is you only get 1 or 2 maps for each update now instead of the usual 4 maps, dunno if its because its a monthly one or not.

Map packs are a great idea; they keep the game fresh, but the amount they charge for them is ridiculous. Especially considering most of the maps were probably completed before the game was released so they could have been included at launch.

Elite doesn't really get them free though. You have paid for them, you just get other stuff too. (Some of the stuff that other developers provide for free.)

And am I right in thinking that the Elite Clan stuff has only been properly introduced in the last week? Only 4 months late.

yep hence my post earlier don't think i cba to buy Elite for MW3 but i probably will for Black Ops 2 as i enjoyed both Treyarch games

I'm going to hold out on 'Black Ops 2' until a couple of weeks after release, Call of Duty is just getting worn out and repetitive now so I'll see how good it is first

Unlucky I paid £39 on the night it came out.. Grainger Games is much cheaper than GameStation

more prestiges are very pointless in my opinion. Especially seen as the icon itself is the same. I think they should have put a little more effort into new prestige emblems

Grainger's might have been cheaper but the people who work there know nothing about anything (in my experience) at least the people in gamestation tend to play the games they sell.

I asked in Grainger's if they were getting the Mass Effect 3 special editions in and none of the staff even knew that Mass Effect 3 was coming out.

I spent a prestige token on unlock gear. I bought mp7 and how used it throughout my prestige. Im about to prestige again but if I do, do I have to spend another prestige token on unlock gear to use it throughout next prestige again?
