Funkypool is now on facebook!
To use the same account* when you log in through facebook please link your account through the option found here:
http://www.funkypool.com/playerEdit.do
You can access the facebook application here:
http://apps.facebook.com/funkypool/
Currently I've added the connectivity between the 2 sites (linking and unlinking accounts, playing from within facebook, etc).
Once this is settled future abilities will include sharing result on facebook, playing friends, ability to register and login on funkypool with your facebook account, and leaderboards with your friends.
Any problems please let me know.

Now there is also a like box on the bottom of web pages. Click like to keep informed of funkypool announcements on facebook.

the game page opens when you click your link no problem... but it doesnt open from facebook, it just keeps refreshing
i gather you must log into funky first.... you cant log in from facebook ?

i cant, i have to log into funky first then click on your link. if i click on the funkypool game app on facebook the page just refreshes

1 question nick, can you still get up if server goes down? or does it appear like server is down?

Thanks - there does seem to be a problem with IE - this will be corrected next patch.
DGen - the page is still loaded from funkypool (in a frame) so it will have exactly the same connection.

Personally its great to see the site on facebook, but i must say it would have been better to fix the site first.

If enough additional users are attracted there may be budget for a higher tier host.

Do you mean the table area is too small? Unfortunately it's limited by facebook. The resizeable game is limited to funkypool.com users - however facebook accounts will be valid on here soon (in fact, they kind of are already).
Thanks - my current main site agenda is trying to get more people on here. I had been neglecting site promotion for the last year.
