Invisible Cue

I just played a guy (weldoninhio) in 8uk speed tourney and his cue was not visible i just seen the balls going down???????
Has anyone else came across this?

I only know it sometimes happens that MY cue goes off, and I can't but hit it on the feeling, lol.
