The new adverts that have appeared over the last few days and weeks seem to be causing me some really bad lag. Particularly the iPhone 4 adverts. I'm sure I remember Nick saying a few months ago that animated adverts weren't appropriate for funkypool, yet we now have loads of them?

Also a warning, I accidentally clicked on one of the adverts and when the webpage opened it started to scan my computer for "security threats", which I found rather worrying.

Yeah anything that tries scanning for problems is usually installing a nasty virus as I found out years ago

So called Smitfraud infection. But I highly doubt those would be advertised via funkypool, not to mention my McAffee Internet scan would go red.

Simply advertising bad, stupid, useless stuff, as always xD

Aside from that, I really don't trust those websites that say "Win an iPhone 4" or whatever high-end gadgets they claim to be giving away. They look really dodgy and giving them any personal details could, at the very least, lead to receiving loads of spam emails.

I'd think Nick has little control over the contents of the adverts, ie thai brides, dating sites with semi clan beautiful women to name a few...

I wouldn't let kids play funkypool without premium and no adverts while the likes of that is popping up..

But he can suspend the adverts and remove the inappropriate ones. He done that a few months ago when unsuitable adverts started to appear.

Personally I'd like to see the "Sexy Billiards" ad on the homepage before I log it go away!

I don't log into Funky Pool to meet possible dates! I come to play pool and have fun!

I used to allow my daughter to play on here but now I'm starting to rethink that. This used to be a family rated site. If I have to put up with those type ads I think I'll find somewhere else to spend my time.
