Funky Champions League (FYCL) is making a return after what i hope was a successful two seasons before.
There will be a few changes including:
Change 1 - Format
To make the games quicker than last time and to not put people off the new format is:
2 Frames of 8 ball us, 9 ball us, 8 ball uk and Straight
3 Points for a win
1 Point for a draw
0 Points for a loss
Change 2 - Website
Change 3 - Amount of Players
Only reliable players will be accepted:
FYCL Season 3 Player Entrants:
1) spoonie
2) killer_no9

There will be no website as a trial for this season, i feel that most people pay more attention to their places and their games when they are displayed in group format on the forum instead of a spin - off website.

Depending on how many players join, the groups will look like this:
16 players - 4 Groups of 4 players in which top 2 will go through to knockout
24 players - 4 Groups of 6 players in which top 4 will go through to knockout
32 players - 8 groups of 4 players in which top 2 will go through to knockout
16 players - 4 Groups of 4 players in which top 2 will go through to knockout
24 players - 4 Groups of 6 players in which top 4 will go through to knockout
32 players - 8 groups of 4 players in which top 2 will go through to knockout

To be fair, straight usually gets forfeited when the other player is losing. Therefore might be a good idea to have the format as:

Id keep straight and if people want to forfeit that's there choice but if your having a good game and craic with your opponent then its a decent idea to keep it. Oh and im in.
