OK i don't know about annoying else but i get pritty annoyed when i look on my profile and i see liek 9,000+ points sitting there doing nothing so why cant we get like stuff to buy for tournapoints we have and played hard for? like cue designs or something like that or like "bebo" had when you could change your skin on profile kind of thing like country flags or football teams a whole range of things for them to brighten up our profiles, just a suggestion what do other people think?

But seriously it is just so boring seeing them there when we could have something good with them or something.

Guys please keep this topic on the actual topic too, i seen alot of threads go down the lavvy in a few days haha.

i like the idea about backgrounds for our profiles but the cue design idea wont happen i don't think seen it on other threads over the years.

i dont like the idea of using our tournapoints to buy them tho they should just be there anyway :)

2000 tournapoints per background for profile is an example.

Makes you work for the tournapoints and is an added incentive.

Same lol, i dont really mind tournapoints as it is although your idea is good. What i don't like about it is you have to be on all day to win the day event etc.

I think a good think that could be done with Tornapoints is it could be used to purchace premium, or to give you a cool coloured name.

that's just my opinion, I guess its still open for discusion ;)

you could even do one where you pay 5000 tournapoints and you can win double tournapoints for the day.

backgrounds sound good.

coloured cue sounds good also so could pay 3,000 tournapoints per cue colour (e.g. gold + silver = 6,000)

i think the Call of Duty Black Ops is a good example of what ghost is talking about where you earn COD Points for playing in matches (better you do more you get but you get some for every game no matter how little).

and you can buy background, create an emblem (maybe 2,000 per layer), coloured clan tags (at prestige 13) but it could be done here with a little HTML etc.

at the moment all tournapoints is is how much time people spend on tournaments.

i doubt this idea will happen but it was worth a shot.

this idea i brilliant, totally agree tournapoints have no value what so ever on their own, but if this was to happen then the prices would have to be in proportion so it isnt really easy to 'buy' something

And there goes 10,000 tournapoints or even 15,000 if needed to get a Funkypool upgrade?
I know it's purely meant for dedicated users to donate and support the site, but removal of adds is not a small thing neither, and if some would like to spend that amount of tournapoints on that, I don't see why not.

I dont think premium member would be achievable as it is the money from that, that probably keeps nick running the site and all that.

Again I have been told that Nick has decided to make the site a heavily weighted tournament site. Tournapoints to help this. My point on my raised forum is that these points are utterly useless and as someone who thinks that there was no reason for the change. would love to see a point of these tournapoints, as listed all above. Not to beat my point to death but it was worth a try but lets get back to (by a majority vote) to the old no nonsense ranking system where if you entered a tourny, you entered to win and not try to gain a handfull of points where quality not quantity is rewarded!!!!!!!!!

Mate this is just to get something out of the points, this has nothing to do with the rank systems even though i agree it has to be srapped and soon but tournapoints are still fun to get and would be alot more fun if we had something to buy with them, except i think ucyforit would probably buy everything in one go
