Please note there has been a slight change in the format.

We have reduced the amount of straight frames by 1 so it is now 2 frames of straight instead of 3. This was reduced from concerns brought to our attention that the time it would take to play straight would be considerably longer than it did to play any of the other 3 game types. It has also brought in the possibility of a draw whereas you couldn't previous.

So just to re-iterate, it is 2 frames of straight and NOT 3.

ok this how it went,i was in the semifinal of 9 ball speed tourney against rubber-duck,first he try to snook me deliberately,he does this everytime when he play with me,and i believe to others too,anyway,he reach the 6 ball he pot it,then he miss the 7 ball and left me with an amazing hard position to pot it,i missed it ,he pot the 7 ball and snook him self! on the 8 ball,he try to hit the 8 ball and after he did he snook me by luck with the 9 ball and i couldnt hit the 8 ball,i try to hit the 8 ball,i did it and scratched the cue ball and after he finish the game,all i want to know is what i must do against rubber-duck to win(and we all know hes a very good player)if i lose the game like this talking about luck huh!!

4-2 to me. very good standard of play. was lucky in the last to snooker him on 2 ball but i still had to clear up. was a good match + he wasnt on his normal comp so could hav been very different. ggs m8
