right im not sore or any thin just a bit peed off that people do this..
situation ..iv got 5 balls left in 8 uk opponent has 2 inc black he was on a clear run when he messed up and snookered himself ,
so instead of trying to hit his ball he touching balled mine in such a way id have to lose a shot just to get out of it ... he recons all the good players do it to win ... personally i play to pot or at least try and get out of the snooker

what would you do...im curious???

It really depends how much you want to win I guess... same as purpose fouling in 8 ball and 3 snookers in row in 9 ball to win.

So if it was best way to win and a clan game yeah I would

At the end of the day its only a game and works two ways..

If I thought it was the best option on the table... then yes.

i would in a clan game on here if there was no other option.

Nothing in rules of play saying taht it cant be done and when needs must or tactical play!!

It's called playing tactically, this does not breach any rules we currently have on Funky pool.

I always try and hit my ball if I'm snookered, except if I'm blocked into a corner by my opponent's balls and have no way route off a cushion to my ball. That's the only reason I would deliberately foul.

If i can't see a clear way out of a snooker then yes i will play tactically, nothing in rules to say you cant, you see virtual pool players and real life players do it.

If he said that all good players do it to win then he is wrong, any player can do this and if needs must then so be it, happened to me on many occassions and will again i also have used the tactic.

If it's tactically sound, then yes I would, but it's always a risk; remember, he's still giving you two shots And even if you have to waste one to set yourself up, you can still at least do that. Don't forget, after he fouls, you can pot his ball too and keep the two shots!

thats only on UK though, i tend to do it more on US as you cant tap to a ball.

on US you have ball in hand and one shot (same with 9 ball but only difference is if you foul 3 times in a row you lose)
