How about doing a rank specific tournament, one a day. Sick of getting into a tournament and playing rank 680's all way through and coming out with negative points, so how about doing an >intermediate tourny, an adept tourny and a pro+ tourny? Seeing as they'd be no use through the night time, just do it during peak playing times e.g. 4pm/10pm

why would people go to intermediate on purpose.... and if the tournament (alike to micro's) weren't counted on the stats then it wouldn't make a difference would it, and find me the thread then.

been mentioned before and it can easily be abused by people resetting/deactivating and coming on a new account.

just make a pro only torno like your straight one

the only problem is its open to abuse from the organiser picking the opponents to suit and bending the qualifying entry

so just say current pro only

start at 8 finish at 9 get the interest 15 sec a shot
but you will need the interest do it once a week, those who want it will turn up

The only main problem with this is that professional players can enter the lower ranked tournaments simply by resetting or deactivating/creating their account.

People outside a specific rank may also want to play in the tournament, this could upset a considerable amount as most people consider tournaments more competitive.

Also anyone has a right to enter any tournament they wish and I believe it would be wrong to take away that right.

I personally think the tournaments are fine as they are for now.

I don't think many people would be very happy with a tournament full of fake Intermediates. I know I wouldn't, so they should be left as they are at the moment.
