i have just bought 2 new mice (not the animal) as my old faithful logitech G7 has started the dreadful double click problem , so i might play a bit crap (like i have been recently then) until i get used to them.

Try that.

I would first try to change the file type that you are saving it as, photoshop files are very large anyway, so may help preserve the quality of the image if you try saving it as something else first (e.g. jpg)

If its still too big or you're changing the file type you save the image as anyway, try the link above

i do all mine on photoshop without a prob with filesize.

once you have done your image click

File, save for web

or alt+ctrl+shift+s (which is the shortcut key to the above.

then you can see your file size in the bottom left and just move the scroll bar (top right) till it meets the desired file size.
