Is there any way this can be added to the game? I'm getting pretty fed up with people entering micro tournies when they are still in the tourny that started 15minutes before. It just takes up a space for someone who actually wanted to play in the micro! It also means people start getting byes in a tourny with only 8 people.

I agree!! When i won my micro tourny, i only had to play one game, was not really worth the effort in fairness...

and that just proves another point why micro/friendly tournaments are useless..

I'm fed up with not being able to enter because half the people in there have entered just incase they get knocked out of the main tourny. Seems to be a massive flaw at the moment.

Seriously, every hour the micro tournys come out atleast one player who enters will be in the main tourny and get DQed.

If they get DQ'ed though they lose ranking points, so they get punished and you gain points. Don't really see the issue.

No, the issue is when a tourny is full because people are in micro tournys and a main tourny. But are actually entering the micro just incase they get knocked out of the main. Its abusing the whole idea of the micro tourny, as there are people who genuinely just fancy sometimes playing a micro but can't because someone has wasted that space by being selfish.

In all fairness 3 of them do occur every hour, so you have plenty of opportunity to play in one.

I think you are missing the point mate, what if i fancy playing a specific gametype and i miss out because someone has entered ahead of me as a backup. Its abuse of the system really and stops people in a rush from being able to play in the micros sometimes.

You say being selfish i say its becuase a player like me wants to join wht thy can and if u can make it to 2 9 ball finals, one micro one reg. I won the miro n lost the reg, but selfish, i dont think so, if u have the choice to do it why not give urself the challenge

Because you are a small minority who will play both. A lot of people do better than they thought in the regular tourny n then go on and boycott the micro, wasting a space that could have been used for someone who actually wanted to play.

i mainly do good in the micro, have won 7 out of past 12 or so was 7 out of 10 but i have been sipping in rank lately...but anyways i join them to winas may as possible and i have won 2 tournys like that, thats why do it. sorry if its coming to that, but im trying to make my mark

To be honest no one really cares about your micro tournys record...

im 50-50 on this, i do agree that you should not enter another tournament while currently in one but they should be able to enter if they choose to do so.

I cant see the problem really , its only a very small minority of people who would be entering both ( and be penalized for not playing ), and you have as much chance as they do to get into the micro tourney, you just have to be quicker of the mark to get into it ? Maybe at busy times of the day the micros should allow for more entrants ?

Allowing more entrants would be one possibility. It just hacked me off earlier because I was on my way out and fancied a quick 9ball micro, 2 of the people who got there before me however didn't even take their invite!

If at busy times of the day, they were to allow more entrants, it is just another main tournament instead of the micro tourney.

I liked the idea suggested that create rolling tournaments and when full they commence!
