Learn to take a joke...

Also please put your posts in full English, it makes it so much easier to read, especially for users who for them English isn't their main language.

The irony.

Anyway, limiting everyone to one tourny at any one time seems fair enough if you ask me.

Irony again for the post below, no point posting again lol.

I liked the idea suggested that create rolling tournaments and when full they commence!

I can see the Original Poster's point.

Wasn't the whole point of micro tourneys for the people who weren't in the main one to have a chance of winning something? (Whether they were knocked out early on in the main one, missed the entry for the main one, or were time restricted and couldn't play for long).

It is quite unfair if a person who's still in the main tournament gets a space ahead of someone who isn't in any tournament.

If this were able to be instigated, it would alleviate any unfairness if a person who's still in the main tournament gets a space ahead of someone who isn't in any tournament.

On top of all this why not the simple rule of only being able to enter one tournament at once?

Disagree, I don't see a reason for this, we should be free to join as many as we like

It has always been OK to enter as many "live" tournaments as you like. With the introductio of the ranked tournaments system, it is certainly a bigger risk but that is up to the individual.

What jimfaebod says is correct, when microtourneys are changed to be constantly running, as it seems the will do since it is a very popular suggestion, this will become a moot point.

You can enter as many tourneys as you like, (present) the honorable thing to do would be just don't enter a micro tourney. So what if they enter, the early bird gets the worm. However like i stated iin my introduction; That would be the honorable thing to do and no harm in entering. You just got to be quicker next time.

It's a pretty sad world if that's the attitude people would rather take ahead of respecting the system. Why enter a tournament with only 8 spaces if you know theres a good chance you won't even play in it?

Jims idea seems like the most constructive one at this point.

Is this likely to be implemented as I feel that it would be a success on the site.. Positive comments already above in earlier posts reagrding Rolling Tournaments!

With the possible intro of rolling micro tournys, would you not start getting people with ranks far to high for their standard with the extra points you get in the tournys.

Irrespective of what tourney you enter, the points awarded are the same!

What i mean is people would only play tourny matches to get a higher rank as the standard i generally lower in micro ones. I dont disagree with rolling tournys, infact the opposite but I would encourage the idea of going back to normal ranking points for any game irespective of tourny or not.
