These guys really were the Pros, and had the work ethic to match it, at least when they were at the top.

Compare with those real cheaters, those who doubt people have multi-nicks and do false reports just because losing a match is even more immature. Those players who leave a match and don't let his opponent to finish just because he is trailing has poor sportmanship and immature. Maybe I have just given a random talk, but you know who because the recent posts have mentioned about that. I am 12, my brother is 11. We have never done that. According to the profile of the person I intimate, he is already 17. Come on, how come a semi-adult is even more immature than a kid?

P.S. To the two players I intimate (ask me if you want to know who is another one), neither my account and my brother's (also ask me if you want to know the nick) is banned, even booted. So please think twice before you report us. This site has eyes and brain.

Yep they was, i tried my best when it folded but my season doesn't count as it was a mess. I think he has that pic because it has his football team on it.

I remember when I was in the pros, MVP, untouchables. And of course the infamous chips n gravy which was co-created by me and Jim. Good days man. Shame its gone but maybe one day it will thrive again whether it be this site or a complete new one.

The physics and gameplay of this is second to none imo. And I cant believe its not been copied.

Don't suppose anyone remembers the original clan league before the FCL / FPL etc. etc?

I set up 'Funky's finest' which on paper had some pretty top players in it Ladysapphire, Ex_champ, Bastilla (from memory) but were still smashed by the 'Untouchables' of Mitch, Cityfan, Nick87, Smithbit, Niall perhaps? I also set up the first properly executed Funkypool vs Funkysnooker matches helped by my incessant messaging of people to play their matches.

Nice to see a couple of familiar faces but most people I used to play with seem long gone now. I was particularly friendly with Mitch, Hightops, Robdut, Wolvesdude, Matty12, Burnzhybhoy. I started when I was about 10 for maybe 5 years before GCSE's and A-levels put an end to it! .Used to lie about my age to seem a bit cooler! I was one of the best at one point but compared to the likes of Marc and Niall I wasn't quite on the same level.

Sad to see the game as it is, but all good things must come to end. Also a shame to see some people either very hostile and / or seemingly pathologically addicted to the site, but I guess that's the situation with any online game.

Anyway, I still enjoy it every now and again in short bursts for a knock about. My hours are irregular in between clinics or sometimes between waiting to feed my stem cells at god knows what hours so the game still offers welcome relief! Please pop up if you remember me / want to play!
