Am i right in thinking US pool tables pockets are usually larger than the UK table pockets,if you are being realistic.any thoughts, thanks.

Yes the US table pockets are bigger,I think the UK table should be something similar to the regular snooker table.

Good point...but the balls in 8UK are also larger - and all pool balls are the same size (unless im incorrect on that, I'm not an expert on pool).

If more realism was needed, I dont think we should change the sizes of the balls in UK - just make the proportions in relation to the size of the balls and the size of the pockets more realistic to standard US and UK tables....unless that is already the case.

Real US pool balls are bigger than UK, as are the pockets and the table.

US (sorry, 8ball billiards ) pockets are bigger than the UK pockets relative to the size of the balls, much harder to pot on a UK table

IMO, thats what the 8uk table should look like (proportions may not be right, but could be adjusted)

id say leave it as it is, pool is easier for a reason

That table looks so much better (and most people don't like the snooker table as it's harder to pot on...)

But I totally agree it has to stay the way it is though.
