if people reset they should make sure the other players no about this

like you do from the start of the game

it show what seconds you are playing

it show that your playing a high rank player

it show that your player is a low rank player

now it should show you that the player your playing as reset or was a very high rank player before

dont like people resetting

gets abused to much...

Every member has the opportunity to reset their own game stats / account.

There has been nothing wrong with this as it has been around for a considerable period of time..

I believe it is up to that user to reset their own account, everyone has the same privilege.

You do know that when a player resets their previous stats are recorded on their "events" page?

It's amazing how many people moan but never bother to check!

Also, remember under the new newbie rules, the effect is negligable since they cannot enter tournaments, and the newbie adjustment has been halved to 10%.

Moreso than ever, you are much better off losing to a newbie than a regular member!

But theres the whole, 800+ ranked player should beat a 675 player X amount of times, which is different to another 800+ ranked player (before they reset)

just means people will try to avoid playing the fake-newbies if they know, which they are entitled to.

If i play a newbie (and other lower ranks) I check the stats on their profile, but that can be an inconvinient thing to do everytime, and not everyone has a good spec pc which may slow them down

Exactly, and this is why the newbie adjustment has been lowered to 10% and stays there for much longer. Meaning you need to lose 10 times as often to a newbie than to a normal player to lose the same amount of rank.

What you have to remember though, is that it doesn't matter what the labels and numbers say on a profile, if you play your best, it is irrelevant whether your opponent is an 8 year old who has never played before, or a 9 year veteran who has a 95% win record.

Yeah in my long illustrious non-career it doesnt really matter what rank, games won, tournies won etc. People know if your good or not and you do to so the only reason people would actually care about this stuff is to satisfy there own ego. In my opinion of course. Half these people that play for fun, they dont play for fun lol i could say that now and while its somewhat true i still get mad when i play bad. Just play the game and stop worrying lol.

thing is tho hes been moaning for months about ppl doin resets and deactn and refusing to play them.. so now this new tourni points system has come in (THE SYSTEM THAT HE WANTED SO BAD) hes worked out that he could win a tourni but still take a loss on ranking points. so whats his only option??? to do exactly the very thing hes been complaining about.. soo now hes the 1 thats on a false rank and will be robbing alot of people of hard earned points just to make himself look better than he is. his uk game is good i guess but its not for me or alot of others on here. boring people into submission is not my idea of a fun or good game but hey ho what do i no.. time for a new acc like kirk.

Get rid of reset and more people will deactivate and go on another account with no record at all.

The reset function was introduced to stop people changing accounts. When people reset, you can find out if they have (as stated above), while if someone goes on a new account then there is no record of it on that account. And you can not link accounts via i.p addresses to show previous usernames as it will just not work for a few reasons.
