New Ranking Tournament System?

Hi people,

I'm just wondering if there is a new ranking system used in Tournaments? Like 100% more of something along those lines.

RESULT: 8 Ball Pool Ranked Tournament - cphaynes (0) loses to chaulkmeup (2) with 4 balls remaining
RANKINGS: chaulkmeup 757.7 (+6.0), cphaynes 826.7 (-5.7)

RESULT: 8 Ball Pool Ranked - cphaynes (2) loses to birmzybwoi (1) with 3 balls remaining
RANKINGS: birmzybwoi 693.6 (+3.4), cphaynes 825.1 (-3.2)

Yes.

Tournaments and TournaPoints will now be the most competitive games on the site. As such the ranking points played for in tournament games are double what you play for in normal games.

This has also been updated in the help page:

Indeed - all explained at the start of that thread.

More ranking points applicable to tournament games (double in fact) and less for normal ranked games.
