All premium users have been given a 1 week extension to cover this inconvenience.

I think a fair few of us were a little worried about the website nick. I remember this happening a couple of years ago and we all freaked out.

But its good to see its back up and running now; thanks for the effort you are putting in to keep the site running

Was there a reason for the downtime?

One can only guess it was a trick played by the hosts or something, Nick didn't you give them any candy this year :O

Yes nick,I live in the US an wasnt able to get on since fri.
I thought maybe it was a server down.But then got to thinking maybe the site closed down.But i keep in touch with balany1 from UK an he couldnt get on either.But glad ever thing is good to go sry for any problems.I no u will get to the bottom of it.thx fatmikee

Maybe there should be downtime once a month to allow chores and other things on wife's nag list to get done....

phewwwww thankgod pool is back .I tried another pool site 3D games it was c *** to say the least and only so much day time tv i can take way to go nick .

Ever since pool came back up, i've had sound problems...

I can hear the sound fine over on snooks, but on here i have no sound what-so-ever.

My "Enable Sound" option is Enabled and still no sound.

My bad. I wanted to remain top at a few things on straight and decided the only way I was going to do that was to crash pool for the weekend until I had access.

The server is restarting a lot, possibly due to some faulty hardware. On server restart funkypool should start too, this was not enabled correctly but I have fixed this now, so if this happens again then everyone will be logged out, but the server will be available within a couple of minutes.

If there is continued problems the hosting company will change to a new server (I would assume this would take about one hour downtime).

I chuckled at that a bit too But seriously nick there could be downtime of another hour? I dont think some of these would survive it...

Possibly a faulty wire to the server (possibly gremlins nibbling at it). This has been replaced. In any case, the server is being monitored.

Seems like the fix hasn't worked. Basically some hardware problem on the server is causing it to restart many times - causing connection problems and tournament cancellations.
