Owen your lucky to get that offer. Matt i think your silly to offer him it as that says that your willing to put some time and effort into a project run by Owen. All i'm saying is dont expect it to work. Owen has been infuriating a lot of people for a while now, and i dont understand why nobody with authority has taken action!!

^^ Because no funkypool rules have been broken.
However - that said, I understand the frustration and there is no reason whatsomever to "steal" a known clan name.
The solution I propose is for a rule to be added to the league itself saying something like :
"Folded/Disbanded/Inactive clan names shall not be allowed except with the express permission of a formar captain or the majority of former members still present on the site."
There can also be a thread made with a list of "Inactive" clans so there is no dispute.
Sound fair?
However - that said, I understand the frustration and there is no reason whatsomever to "steal" a known clan name.

However i wasn't talking about mods/admins i was talking about someone like Potty stepping in... Upsetting the minority (Owen) by banning him from the league, to please the many (everyone else).

Spinner has hit the nail on the head, i don't think owen needs banned for this though sure what he has done is wrong whether it's malicious or not. But there is no rule to stop him yet. So now would be the time to tell him and if he continues then ban him.

Surely this is ridiculous though if any of you guys had ur clans resurected by clans most unreliable person how would you feel, especially as a clan has such a good history and what they stood for is totally ruined. There should be a rule introduced here.

hey,
I know I like to have a laugh! and not everyone gets me, but DT was an invite only clan run by very good friends.
It would be very wrong if somebody started off another DT clan. Lets hope it dosn't happen
