5 Substitutions

5.1 Informing league hosts

All substitutions must immediately be posted in the official league forum thread named "Official clan subs page". This enables fixtures and the web site to be updated promptly.

Kayleigh was confused but from rules it says subs need to be posted immediately on official thread. Otherwise why bother having an official sub thread as anyone could play anyone ?

blue tell me which league UPDATES STRAIGHT AWAY?

nowhere in the rules does it state that the post has to be made before the games start, nor that the substitution isn't valid until it is posted

the way it is written suggests that as long as the post is made up to immediately after the substitution (including the game being played) there is no problem so the restart was not needed

it also states that the immediacy of the subs is due to the updating of the site not any other reason

If league runners says its ok to post the sub in the official thread after the games are played I apologize for being wrong. Till then I was just going by the rules as I was led to beleive they were to be followed.

Dan I never mentioned that any league updates straight away, not sure were that came from.. doesn't really involve you mate tbh ..

They have agreed to replay Sunday and admited an error was made so lets just leave it at that unless league runner says otherwise....

Blueberry, the post was removed because you told her to remove posts (which was taken more literally than was perhaps intended)

Everyone involved was aware the substitution had taken been made and agreed upon (otherwise no doubt the game wouldnt have started).

The rules dont state that a sub isnt valid unti it is posted and doesnt state any games need to be restarted if there was no post made(which there was)

Like I say, this nonsense about games being invlaid is nitpicking nothing more

Yes...Post's were removed..I thought you meant all posts reguarding the sub..That was my mistake..Anyway leave it there..and it shall be sorted.

as the first paragraph shows it says the site will be updated promptly which obvs it aint as chris doesnt have the internet at the place he lives as he does it at an internet cafe

Like I said they are replaying Sunday unless league runners say otherwise. I'm not trying to bend rules here actually trying to stick to them. If I'm wrong to do so I'm sorry ...

And who played Blue?...They did...I just got league's messed up..Even you had to check and see it was the league i said..
Anyway...as we have both said...We'll see what league runners say...

It wasn't posted immediately that post was made when games had finished....

Look lets leave it there if sub doesn't have to be posted before games over thats ok I apologise and games stick... if not they are replayed as the vice and both opponents have agreed to.

I don't normally make a habit of causing/being drawn into arguments so I will shut for tonight and say no more on this.

The error was that you subed a fcl game and cpl game together as one league.. thats all I was stating...
