Does anyone share the same frustrations i do?

I wanna know if anyone thinks it'd be a good idea to have live scores in the tournament list in Straight pool? (instead of saying 0-0 or 1-0)

I think it'd be good to know for two main reasons:
1) adds to the excitement of it
2) helps you work out the rough time left of the round, allowing you chance to play games whilst waiting for the round to finish.

Add your thoughts please, and hopefully it can be implemented!

Like this suggestion, however I dont know the practicalities or feasability of implemeting this..

Instead of just showing status of the game, 1-0 or 0-0 it could show the live score as it occurs or slightly afterwards.

Would be a good feature but i never thought was possible lol, if it is then that would help me with my loo breaks when iv had a few tinnies

I think this is a fantastic idea... it would help you see the progress of games and allow you to either play another game while waiting, or grab a brew good thinking jpenny3 and i hope this can happen.

well thats usually what I grab, but I was tryin to not show myself as a crazy drunk guy that sits here playing pool all day but if you are having a beer, lets add reason 4) as well:

a pizza!

Nice idea , dont know if its needed though , you could always play a friendly in between games ? And put the fridge closer to your computer

If you leave a friendly early, although you don't lose points surely it still counts as a loss and an abandoned game?

very true, chaos. I guess the need is merely a cosmetic one, but i think it'd be exciting

i still think it would help... as i saud before a loss is a loss, friendly or not.. and still counts on stats

i guess it would add more work to the server, but only if everyone updates the page?

Yeah very good idea, plus the issue over lag, you have the option now if the tourny page is updated every 15 or 30secs automatically but only if you select it so sure same could be done if a live score feature was implemented so would be upto the individual player if they had it running or not.

Yeah, when you look at a tournament page, it says near top right corner "This tournament is in progress. You can auto refresh page every 15 seconds, or 30 seconds.", just click on 15 or 30secs and it will auto refresh the page for you

Why not update it every 5 points or so instead of every shot, or update it after each run?
