This happens to ours too, and I just open and close it till it reads.

Can take like... 45 minutes though by then i get bored and just leave

takes me 5 mins at most cos i just press open really fast until it opens

It does take a few tries, but I'd rather waste the few minutes pressing the button than waiting the few weeks it would take Microsoft to completely fix it.
