I was reticent on adding 5 second games for this reason, hence adding the notice in red warning you're starting an unusually fast game in this case before you play. After you have a few more games you'll be sure to see this.

good Nick, i was looking n waiting for 5 sec game....even now 3 sec after 1 or 2 years....

I like the quick games. It does take some getting used too i turned around to check the football and missed two shots

If you dont like the quick games then make a different game!

I like the 5 second games, makes you pay attention

in 5 second games you have to focus at the screen all the time and can't afford to browse other sites, it also makes you alert.

and on a more serious note i think 5 sec games add a touch of fun to games as said above majority of folk ill not play ranked........but i ask u this nick.......................

even more so than in speed tournies, these would give any player the chance of winning. tbh couldn't see it happenin tho but ya never no!!!!

Personally i hate speed games, but if people want it then they should have it. Hardly a case of the website becoming a joke more like the website is making it even more enjoyable.

I've been asking for a quick game option since before funkypool existed, and am absolutely delighted with the update. (I play more snooker now, but its the same over there).

It's given the site a new least of life IMO, and there are no shortage of willing opponents so I can;t be the only one who was bored with slow games

I think some of the best players on here will admit that they take more time on each shot! Hence why they are so good. From the games i have played so far with 5 secs timer makes this game a little more difficult and another option to game play. Bring this into tourns i think will be great new addition. I would also like 'pro games back' as an option. But yet again these changes just shows how Funkypool listen to the members and progress to making a better site. Keep up the great work Nick (and team)

I think with any game update it usually livens the place up, but yeah a lot of people are loving it.

I miss the 180 second games. Handy for when you're at work etc. Easy to abuse though.
