janmb response is that its my fault because i sent the list to pot the lot instead of him

other people did the same however they were all changed apart from ours, as ours was missed

i only made the changes to the team and used the subs
because of this mistake.
if the team list had been posted correctly we would have subs and this match wouldnt have gone to default

Again read the posts I just sent you - they explain what happened and why your list was not used. Very unfortunate, but nothing more we can do about that now.

jan has explained in other pms that basically it is my fault although other teams made the same mistake. ours was overlooked. end of

i did it before i went on holiday , and thought i was an idiot when it didnt appear , hence the apologies i made to you guys.

im still wrong along with other people , they were just luckier than i was.

You made a minor mistake and we failed to correct it - in short I think we share the blame.

Neither of us can go back in time and correct it tho, so all we can do is look forward.

Ok before Craig went on holiday he pmed me and told me he'd sent pot the lists for first 2 fixtures as he'd be away... The day they were due in I pmed pot to check she had received the lists... as below

Just checking if Craig sent you team list, he gave me it and I think said you have it already... tell me if you don't and I'll send it now

He did send it to the wrong recipient, but as already stated, it's not entirely his fault alone either... Once the error was discovered (wrong list used on web) potty DID forward the list to me, but it got lost in the spam

So all in all, had lists been sent to me in the first place this wouldn't happened, AND if I didn't miss potty's message with the forwarded list when we were correcting fixtures it wouldn't been a problem either... So again, we both share blame for this.

In the end tho, please don't blame this for not going through... No one can tell how the outcome with different players would have been, but Cobras did beat you in the games that got played, Sharpshooters in fact won the defaults, and despite this Cobras came ahead by a few points. Not saying it couldn't gone differently, just pointing out that it's not given that it would either.

It's called human error - as in an accident. Please don't make it sound like people did something bad to you on purpose cause that's obviously not the case.

Another thing, why wasn't this brought to my attention a week ago, back when we might been able to do something about it?

Captains must select 8 players from their clan to play each fixture, with the remaining players being considered reserves. These lists must be sent to pot_the_lot by the Friday before the week of play. Otherwise, the same 8 players who played the previous week will be selected.


That is quoting rule 1.3 from the web site.

So in theory, Craig did send the team list to the correct person

Thanks warney7 I remember reading that rule too and thinking it was pot the lists were to be sent to ? Is it different for cup match ?
