The air is rich with anticipation
waiting for the buzzer so you can be a breaking
buzzer sounds you place the white
you strike with your cue its time to fight !
BOOM! sounds this mayhem and all the balls scatter
one falls ,where the others land it really dont matter!
cause your focus is clear your confidence high,
only uncomfort is your throat is a little dry
your pulse quickens ,you shake off the heat
until there is a calmness you only hear your heart beat!
You take that first shot the one that really matters
the determiner shot, the one that seems to fill your bladder .
The time clock is at eight ,your white cursor set
hard to believe i havent taken this shot yet,
unsure of your focus, is it lined right ?
inside your head you scream with all your might
with uncertainty in your sights you push your mouse
the cue ball laughs in your face and says "this is my house"!
What seems an eternity the white rolls strong
finally hits but was it the right spot or was i wrong ??
the balls collide momentun begun
the white hits the cushion backspin is the way it spun
the angle is off but the speed seems right ,
the pocket is clear and the table seems bright.
All at once the ball seems to speed up and you swear you hear a slight giggle giggle,
point to point it bounces and stops :( i call this the wiggle wiggle lol ...... pete

now we know where you have been ole viking - must have taken you a week to write this lol

gonna keep it ongoing hon - but rather than releasing fixtures you can just play a clan member when online and post the result - no deadline so we can run it till its finished

Thought I would start here as you guys seem to have the tournaments off to a tea. Here is a big update on the clan cross country league. Here is the thread please check for all updates and news:

We have completed 2 weeks and 2 seperate competitions now so 2 down 3 to go. We are in the middle of our 3rd week of the event. If you missed it here are the final standings individuals / team for both previous weeks. Please bare in mind only SCORING players feature on the images.



Fuller details and write ups are on the thread basically a good win for antione08 closely followed by ucyforit and the teams reveal crazy 8's to be the winners by a sizeable margin! Silver and gold went to Crazy 8's and MVP just!



Thats the results of the 2nd week this time ucyforit stormed through easily with masses of wins! 2nd was shared between the fighting cobras and the team prize went once again to crazy 8's. Although cobras wernt so far behind this time... Bronze that week went to top dogs!

Have time for a quick update on this the 3rd week has been going on for 2 and a half days. Ucyforit has the lead again by a small margin closely followed by mr_pink_eyes and welsh_boi. The team event is the closest its been. Crazy 8's, cobras and FPB seperated by 3 points at the top.
