One of the most toughest final's i have ever played, and to play such a great man and an excellent vice captain, both had our crap moments, but we took it like men. Excellent games mate

also to jerry who i beat in semi final, was very good games there to mate

NEW FNL LEAGUE FORMAT

We have come up with a new system, here's the outline:

Using 4 game types, both 8's, 9 and Straight.

1 clan will be designated as a home team, the other an away.

Each home player will choose 2 game types to play against their opponent.

If either 8ball, 8UK or 9ball is chosen then 4 games are played of that, resulting in 1 point per frame. If Straight is chosen, 2 games are played, with 2 points per frame (so a max. of 8 points are available overall on frames no matter what games are chosen).

A bonus 5 points for winning against your opponent overall will be given and a further bonus 15 points will be given to the match-winning clan.

If 2 clans are on the same number of points, they will be sorted by the number of: Fixtures won (as a clan), then games won (by players).

This supports what people have asked for in the past for the FCL, they have wanted bonuses for winning games, while having each frame contribute as well.

We are set apart as there are less games for the clan players, there is a choice in what to play as well.

If you have any problems, thoughts or queries, please don't hesitate to message me. I will keep you updated with any alterations or further decisions as well as when we come up with a solid set of rules.

We will also release this on the forum after we have been given some feedback from the captains, so I'd appreciate it if you don't just yet.

I personally like the new format and want to say to dark_angel thanks for mixing it up and making it something other than the same ole same ole , its encouraging to see original ideas in a world of repetition and im excited to see how people adapt but know everyone will i mean come on this is the FUNKY site THE best damn pool site on the planet. And to everyone else who have great ideas for fun original competitions , POST YOUR IDEAS i personally would love to hear them .....pete

Thank you bud it was truely a great match but am satisfies with the outcome glad jay won we are one a piece now in 9ball tournys so we play some our best games against each other in the nine tournys it seems lol Three out of the four in the semis were eights so hay it couldnt be more satisfying we have shown we havent been just talk we dominated the tournys in big As cross country competition Thank you eights you continue to make me proud of all the accomplishments and how we have come its something for everyone to be proud about and just think ..... JUST THE BEGINNING and we barely flexed our mighty muscles and when the gun sounds and the new season is underway everyone will feel the might and destruction we are ready to unleash and all i can say is .......... hehe ......pete

I got an update on our newest cannot be talked about he says three weeks and all is well and he is back , he said to tell everyone he misses all yous , he is concerned about his position as an eight i assured him this family sticks together to enjoy his vacation not to stress that his blood still flows crazy It was a big hit to me when this happened cause to see the excitement and pride that guy held when he was excepted into the brotherhood always made me smile cause he was always humble and pleasant and this site just dont have enough of that but it will i got total faith . Anyways for he who isnt to be spoke of i say this " We miss you brother you are now and forever will be an eight and highly excited for your return ..... pete

K i got a question only you guys can answer so here goes carl

As you all know i been following the thread views pretty heavy and i know sound silly to most you maybe but to me that is like became an obsession I LOVE OUR READERS but more importantly i want to make this interesting and fun and want to keep our fans with us ...... K this is what i am going on about . When i logged out yesterday we for giggles and my own interest i jotted down our thread views and it was 4318 i was offline for 11 hours and when i logged in this morning it was at 4521 so in eleven hours we had 203 views .... now right now back out and see the views in the last hour > REALLY GO LOOK RIGHT NOW LOL!!
K my question is how cant we average this or keep this consistant people ?? And i keep asking for input on different things from you guys and not getting any ideas about any of my prior curiositys but this one here is very important to me and if i have earned any kind of appreciation i will get hopefully a couple replies back but i just want to know what i can do or what as a team we can do to keep this a constant flow and no i cant clone myself already looked into that lol I know i got the words but so do you guys i have seen bits here and there from everyone and from what i have seen only strengthens my desire folks . Ideas or input please . Like i told dave yesterday the more you guys post the more i got work with i can do wonderful things with em trust me

Ucyforit was the start you all know ucy was never much a talker he did his talking on the table and for him to unleash the devestation he has as of late and the posting he has done has increased 300 percent and alot of that is kind words from others , motivational praise by all us just straight up he feels good about himself and that makes me smile and what im getting at is i want this for all of you you have earned it!!!!! So not over medicated ole viking isnt losing his horns he wants to know what we can do to make everyone feel like ucy does , im always looking for ways to keep this fun folks and to be pulling in views like we have just the few posts i throw down makes me wonder what as a whole team we could do???
