Well this is my new wacky event that involves no fixtures but competition for clans and individuals. Do you remember the lovely days of school cross country well this is the same style without the rain, the mud and the cold!

The will be 5 venues for each race lasting 1 week and beggining on sunday 6pm.

Each week any clan can register any number of players from the clan it doesnt matter. 4 is the minimum for 1 team but can compete with less if you were to read on... During the week the registered runners will have to win as many tournaments as possible to gain points for there clan the time in which the tournament will won will decide the amount of points they gain. The scoring is:

0:00 - 8:00 ~ 0.5 points
8:00 - 16:00 ~ 0.75 points
16:00 - 23:00 ~ 1 point

This is open to debate and will probably change slightly. It is scored like this as earlier tournaments have much fewer numbers where as 16:00 onwards is peak and therefore harder to win in theory.

This is where it gets a bit confusing and may have to be re-explained to our dear elderly members alan and keith but lets see how we go!

At the end of each week when the results are tallied up everyone will be put in an individual league table. The top 4 of each clan will be the "A" team the next 4 will be the "B" team. The teams are not set in stone throughout the competition. Now say if MVP "A" team had the positions 3rd,4th,10th and 13th then our score would be 30.

So there are many reasons why you should as a clan submit more players than there are places. ie 9 even though 1 will miss out on being a team scorer.

1. The extra player may infact make one of the teams anyway and make the team stronger than it would have been.

2. The individual prizes are still up for grabs and will get a ranking each week aswell as an overall ranking at the end.

3. You want to try and reduce your opponents scores so by having this extra player if they manage to get ahead of say the 8th scorer of wipeout then thats 1 more point for wipeout!

Remember its the least amount of points that wins. There will be individual prizes / team prizes for each week at a different venue aswell as the overall prizes. The first week I hope to begin on sunday. The famous cross country venues areeeeee:

Week 1: Parliament hill
Week 2: Roundhay park - Leeds
Week 3: Newton course - Nottingham
Week 4: Barrow - Liverpool
Week 5: Queens drive - Edinburgh

Zack pointed out that due to being short staffed we are going to ask the clans to make sure all of the tournaments there clan wins are posted on here, messaged to us whatever.

They can do every one and post it or more practically they could assign one user to the daily job of noting down all the winners and time of the tournament.

Will message around in a few hours clarifying some details with captains. They will still be given a position James joint 45th for example and if the team only has 3 scorers then they will be counted it's probably best to edge your beta and choose more than necessary.

I know this guy is liking this and with the tournys the ooze out of our powerhouse of a team we are a shoooo in to win this and alex i loved the " without the rain cold and mud" wasnt that the truth lol Never fail race day was always rainy and ucky

Unfortunately antione08 was put off by the idea that he was actually going to go to liverpool. Do not worry yourselves those venues are there simply to mark the next week.
