A local named "Paddy the Pointer" didn't exactly ingratiate himself to the people of Carlow town in 1798. Why?

The Battle of Carlow took place in Carlow
town, Ireland on 25 May 1798 when Carlow
rebels rose in support of the 1798 rebellion. A local man who became known as "Paddy the Pointer" is reported to have helped to identify escaped rebels to the military by riding around the town and pointing them out.

The Pentagon has double the amount of toilets that it actually needs for a building of it's size. What is the reason for this?

Wasn't it for white and colored (deliberate American spelling) people, or similarly suitably racist in its day?

Correct

When the Pentagon was built the Law of segregation was still in place, which meant that black people were not allowed to mix with white people or use the same facilities like toilets, restaurants ect.

That's right! Half King (also called Tanaghrissian or something, I can't remember) attacked the French guy with a tomohawk, can't remember his name either. The French got mighty annoyed and attacked the British post (this was way before the Revolution, you see) of which Washington was a part, and they got him to sign some sort of form, which implicated him in the French guy's assassination... but he didn't know that because he didn't understand French.

Consequences:
- Seven Year's War
- Stamp Act
- American Revolution
- USA
- Hippies
