Hey all..
I'm sure you were all expecting this to come sometime soon, so here it is...funkysnooker and funkypool world cup
Here, it is not a competition of the two sites, but it actually is the competition of different countries which'll have to compete on both sites.
The countries involved are:
Germany
USA
Spain
France
Greece
Portugal
England
Ireland
NOTE: If any team names want to be change, just put in a request
The game types to play will be:
Arcade
Regular
Original
8us
8uk
9us
It will be best of 5 frames (first to 3) in each discipline, and each team is entitled to have 5 players only, with 2 subs.
The start date is dependent on when we get all the teams sorted, but it will be a few weeks before we get going.
We will start off by having group stages, just like the current world cup. The top two teams will go through to the knock-out stages. In cases of any defaults, the opponent which did not turn up will be dis-allowed to play further matches and the team will need to pick a sub to take his/her place. If you lose all your subs and one actual player, you are not allowed to select another player off snooker or pool to be in your teams, and the team you choose will need to be submitted before we set off, and no amendments will be made thereafter.
