Hello you lot, Katie thug, havnt seen you post here in ages!

Well I dont know about you lot, but its been a crap night back here!!

My dog's had to have an emergency operation :(
Her stomach had swollen on one side and could barely walk, turns out she has an infection in her uterus, and probably wouldnt of survived the night if I didnt take her :(

Not only that, but the costs are outrageous, as ive been told the surgery etc could run up to £1200.


Argh!

Sorry to hear about the pup Pit, vets charge a ridiculous amount these days - you'd think they'd be more interested in saving an animal than drawing up a mass fee!

Here's hoping she makes a full recovery mate.

Oh i see, so shall i stay here? I mean you may wanna sort ur Sat night out an that...

Yeah she'll be there till about 8 in the morning, But then ill have to pick her up and take her to my local vet clinic if she still needs to stay on a drip, as the place shes in now is emergencies only, hopefully she'll be coming home, I bloody miss her already!

Cheers Ste, and yeah, your right there mate, when I took her to the vet for a check up they charged me £22.50 for literally...3minutes of their time (well he did stick his finger up her bum, not sure if thats why it was costy! ha!) then said she'll need an op tonight, which would cost around £600.

But now it could be up to £1200? and ill have to pay the rest tomorrow when I pick her up, robbing sods!!

Paula - suit yourself, me and minnie will make a night of it ha!

Don't know where they get the rest of the cost from (unless its medication, etc) - make sure you ask for the receipt mate. Don't hang bout with the payment do they?

Nah I dont think it'll cover medication after the op, Im not sure really. yeah I signed some paper work etc, £1200 is the max ill have to pay...only! Pffft...

Aww Pete I hope your dog gets better mate. It's disgraceful how much vets charge. As if people haven't got enough to worry about without having to find loads of money to pay for treatment.
