Obviously it would go a lot better too if giving out about an opponent's behaviour were not done on the forum, so please do not do it. In any case, if anyone is being unreasonable or unsporting during a game, please feel free to send a complaint. Broadcasting your grievances on the forums about someone does nothing to solve the problem; in fact, it only makes it worse because the other person is inevitably going to respond.

never mind but that is correct i think. there should be a rule if your not willing to play at least 1 hour after challenge or declaire then dont post cos loads could get played here tonight

An interesting suggestion, and maybe a popular one too. The problem though is someone could become king and then log off (cos everyone's gotta go to bed sometime or do whatever they need to do away from the computer). Maybe if the challenger isn't online, that might work, but then again if the king has stopped playing for the time being, it's not the challenger's fault. It's a rule that could work sometimes and could be grossly unfair at others.

Example: say you challenge, play, win, and log off immediately to go to bed. It wouldn't be fair on you then to be dethroned just because of that. And if you decided to come back after a few minutes, it wouldn't be fair for the challenger to lose their right challenge if they logged off when they saw you weren't on.

its simple really if your not willing to play dont challenge or declaire be a sportsman and let someone else play people have challenged and gone offline before when the kings been online and willing
and tonight zante declaired when he wasnt willing to play when more than likely a chance would have come tomorrow for him to challenge
loads could be played in that time
obviously if you have won the crown go offline whenever it just needs a little comonsence and sportsmanship

i have to agree with qpounder there, there could be a lot more games played...

good point i challenged yesterday and was on for alot of today and left a time for him to play me and didnt get a chance to play

Please remember:

so after reading all the above which maybe of interest or not

it comes down to who is king nd who challenges

the only problem with this competition, is the rules are constantly challenged and bent and twisted to suit individuals

why not just play the game in the spirit it was inteneded

why not make it simple as in
1) challenege if ur going to play
2) arrange the time mutually if one fails to meet the AGREED MUTAL TIME within 24hours then who ever dosnt show is dq unless the other player posts he was online not browing at the given arranged time
3) post the time of the game which also assists new challenges

intstead of bending the rules, im sure my comments will bring debate , but im also sure that the above stops people from being unsporting oh nd by the way this can work
