Arnt both players DQ'ed if 24 hours is up ? Mich needed to be online when the time was up to retain the crown ?

Someone challenged mich. Then they got banned, which vacated the challenge, in my view. Therefore he has 24 hours from the new challenge to be on, as do I. At least that's my interpretation of it! Otherwise someone could challenge and deactivate immediately and, with no new challenger, the king would be dethroned 24 hours later even though there is no challenge.
