I have created this thread for people to recommend games for both PS3 and XBOX360 for others possibly having trouble deciding what they want.
I have some spare cash for a couple of games at the end of this month, can anyone recommend any new releases or any other games for the PS3?

Borderlands is great if you haven't tried it already. It's different and really fun top lay alone or if you have friends. You can also play online with others around the world.
If you're a fan of Grand Theft Auto, you'll of course like the 4th one in the installment (although that personally is not one of my favorites). If you like that style of gaming, Saint's Row 2 is also really good.
Final Fantasy XIII is also worth a try.

That's what I said about Borderlands earlier. Resident Evil 5 is reeeally good too, I'd highly recommend that one. Good game for fans of zombie slaying,

I agree with Katie, great game
I personally love Guitar Hero too, so you could give that a try if you want something different.
Street Fighter IV is a great fighter too, probably going cheap now as well with the new one just coming out, alternatively you could just buy the new one
Killzone 2 is also a great game for the PS3, I used to play that a lot when I played the PS3, it's fun and doesn't get boring quickly like most online games. It'll be going relatively cheap now too.

But once you get to 61 on 2 accounts, and completed it, its quite boring, and end up modding stuff

For a driving game, soon to be released is Test Drive Unlimited 2, great gameplay with the ability to drive ANYWHERE within reason that you cant drive into the ocean (Xbox360)
Gran Turismo 5 is soon to be released, they've been holding it off so they can add touches to it, but it is garunteed to be the greatest driving game on the planet. With around 1000 cars to choose from, and over a period of time the developers will create cars available for download, taking the total car list up to 10000 (yes that 10k!) (PS3

Agreed, probably the best trailer for a game i have seen and the 1st two games were ace aswel, i expected this one to be in present time though the way the 2nd ended, but im hoping this means we are going to get more games lol.
Anyway i see your assassins creed and raise you batman arkham asylum 2
