Yes, Zante is right about the rules pertaining that game, but if you want some REAL irony, the rules also state that Zante should post his concerns in a PM, not in public.

As far as I know, it is written from scratch, mainly using php, but it's all Dave's work so I don't have all the details. What I CAN tell you for sure though, is that plenty aspects of that site is stuff you can never do in dreamweaver or similar, simple web builders.
I've been reading up a lot lately on integrating phpbb3 forum software with web sites, just like Dave has done for the current solution, and lets just say there are virtually not a single precedent to be found - so he deserves some real credit there.
There are plenty sites using phpbb2 (previous generation) forum to store website data, but that's unfortunately less than useful.
And sorry if derailing your thread Nutters - blame Zante
