I wondered that too, but if you look closely, Ronnie is focussed entirely on the pot, and probably didnt notice the ref had picked up the red he accidentally placed.

Referee John Williams did something similar to Michaela Tabb back in the day, although I can't exactly remember the circumstances; I think it might have been that he picked up the white instead of the potted colour, just like Ms Tabb did.

was watching snooker this morning with the highlights of the steve davis match and when he was calling out steve davis along with his history, something like this "and one of the best at the game 6 time world champion.. blah, blah, blah " and at the end shouted dennis taylor i think it was.. omg funniest snooker laugh ive ever had
