if both people in a tournament final get a DQ i think there should be some kind of bronze match between the people in the semi finals that lost to see who wins it for 3rd place.
because its unfair losing then both people get DQ in final

its not unfair at all,
the winner of the tournament should be the person who overall doesnt lose a match, if you lose a match you're out
the person who wins this 'bronze match' would have won the same amount as both finalists (in dq-dq) but would have legitimately lost a game
whatever reason there is a dq-dq for (probably running out of time most likely) it would be much better to see a final with no time limit or something like that than giving people a second chance which would be unfair to other people who havent

A DQ-DQ isn't a loss, and doesn't appear as a loss in either person's stats. It simply happens that they have run out of time (or don't turn up within 3 minutes). I think it happened recently in a straight final...?

the only thing i would agree on, is when your say 2-0 up and they play slow to time out, ill agree there something needs to be done if they wish to stop you from winning, but if its a level score or a close game DQ DQ doesn't affect anyone

if the score isnt level maybe if the game times out the person on the higher score should get the win?
and if it is level then maybe some sort of golden pot, run or whatever where both players get one chance

what if you made it really intresting, you break, you choose your colour and pot as many balls as you can, if you pot the black, they have to,if they dont you win as you cleared another rack more then them?

As annoying as it may be a DQ is hardly the end of the world, and a double DQ doesn't happen that often (in the later stages).
Usually if you get DQd it's your own fault.
If you don't finish within the allotted time, tough

ok but i agree with zante about person winning in a game wins.
i know it cant happen in speeds or random but it can happen in marathons or regular tournaments
and if its 0-0 double DQ then

I agree with Rogan on this one. If you are DQ'ed from a tournament, then it's nobodys fault but your own. Either you didn't pot the balls well enough and you opponent felt like losing, or you didn't make it to the room in time. Either way you are given multiple warnings before you are DQ'ed

what if its 2--0 to you, you enter dead on time, he enters late, you miss the black he just constantly snookers you to time out, not your fault then

i see both sides, i agree with rogan personally, i dont think theres anything wrong with current system, expect time wasters, isnt there a way to detect time wasters and boot them out maybe?

Well the maximum time a player can waste each shot is 20 seconds, if they choose to snooker you that's their choice and is a perfectly legitimate thing to do, and it is up to you to get out of it.
If they do it with the intention of wasting all of the remaining time, as unsporting as it is, it's still up to you to resolve it.

I have never been dq out of a final by time out you would have to be doing something seriously wrong to have only played 2 frames in that amount of tine lol.
