So, does every single game released now have DLC? This is getting ridiculous. I miss the good old days when you bought a game completed it and that was it.

I would compare this with a book publisher printing a book that is missing a chapter, then a month later releasing that chapter as a second book and charging people for it.

I like to think of it, an optional extra bonus gift from the producers.
Even without DLC the games still have their purity and is good.

Remember it is optional if you dont got the money nobody is forcing you to buy it then

Two sides to this coin.

If there was no DLC everyone would moan as well.

It also attaches the people who already beated the game to play it again with the new DLC. Which is good as most people play it then throw it away.

I'm a PC gamer so 99.9% of the time all DLC is free.

In my opinion it's all about the pricing, if you're getting essentially a whole new game via DLC, a price like 1200MSP (Speaking from an xbox point of view) is perfectly reasonable, but in the case of MW2, I think it's 1200MSP for 5 new maps?

(I could be wrong there though)
