I did and his reply much later seemed to indicate he wasnt actually browsing when i sent it
think the server just keeps him logged in

I'm usually online later on in the evening due to work hours (I work from home atm). It's a private computer so I have myself permanantly logged in whenever the machine is on, which at present hasn't been shut down in over a week.

I'll try to pop on more frequently in the early evenings.
