I'd like to take part, just one concern, 4 frames could quite easily result in a draw for a number of fixtures, especially if the game is down to the 8-9 and most players are dependant on luck. Also, if one were to pot the 8 whilst attempting to pot the 9 leaving the 9 on it's own, the game would last an eternity with the one potting it defaulting the frame.

Good stuff draw to be done tonight.
Yes obscurity a draw is possible only in the group stage round though. It will no doubt have a few defaults but people will realise that their best vey is to win from earlier combos not leave it to the 8-9.
I can only refer to mmt version of this about a year ago and this rule proved to not be a big issue.

sounds different anyway it will make a good change and the games will be fun and yes probably a lot of luck aswell mind

You dont forfeit the frame on the 9 - you forfeit it on potting the 8 and leaving the 9
League (split into groups) then knockout

Four frames per match.
Everyone has three games to play at their leisure.
A elasticated week to play games.
Messages to be sent out tommrow however.
All results to be submitted on this thread.
Defaults will be given in the event of unplayed games.
Groups to be announced within the hour.
