Hi, just a quick question.
Why isn't it possible to completely overlap the cue ball with the 'default' cursor? Sometimes it makes it awkward to take a shot when the object ball is really close to the cue ball, thats all.
I know i could just ude the ghost ball to solve this problem but i've always used the default cursor and cant really get on well with the ghost ball.
Cheers, Run

If you're completely overlapping, you're effectively aiming for the position the cue ball is in, which is, of course, impossible.

u just can overlapp lets say a fourth of the cueball..
verry close shots may need half overlapp which is at the moment not possible..
completely overlapping surely is no use..

At the moment, it's not possible to take a shot if the center of the cursor is over the cueball. Unfortunately this is sometimes necessary if the object ball is very close to the cueball and you need to get the edge of the cursor touching the edge of the contact ball. In other words, overlap of virtually all of the cueball needs to be possible (except for the case where the cursor is exactly over the cueball, which in theory sends the cueball in no direction and isn't a shot anyone would practically need anyway).

I have always played these shots with exagerated direction. If it needs to go slightly to the left to pot then I place the cursor further left on the object ball. Would ofcourse make it easier if you could overlap more.
