hey a quick thought-out suggestion.

i was thinking of random ranking like when you create a game, and when that player joins, when you both click play, the game type you play is Random. Example: when John and Bob click play, the table is one of the 3 game types and you must play the game. say if its 1-0 bob you guys want to play again and you both click play then it goes random again. ( either 8 ball uk, 8 u.s or 9 )

I think this would be a good idea.

i thought about this because when someone wins a random tourney, it says Novice :P

I think it would be awesome tbh...

if someone likes the 8 ball games and not 9 ball, then there is a risk of that person just leaving the game if 9 ball came up.

thats the only downside I can see to this, otherwise its pretty good

Well the simple solution there would be to not show the game type until both players have clicked yes.

thats the thing - whether you show them or not, there is still a risk of that person leaving the game.

I also think that there should not be a "Random Game Ranking" - if this was to go ahead, then I think that 8UK games just stick to the 8UK profile.

To avoid novice coming up, I wonder if nick can change it so when the random game in the tournament is 8UK for that round, then that persons rank (Adept, Pro etc) comes up for 8UK only? If you get what I mean...

I like the idea ,adds something different to the site , if people choose to leave because they don't like the game that's come up ,it a disadvantage to them isn't it ? By losing points?.
I cant see why people would join knowing random games are chosen then leave .

noo once u both click play it pops up as a random game so if u hate 9 ball u.s and if u leave then YOU lose the ranking points. lol

i like the idea gives us all a chance to beat onua in a different game
