Hi guys,

Java's being a pain in the backside for me. Had a Firefox problem and had to disable all add-ons, but fixed that. Started Firefox up again, enabled Java Console 6.0.18 and Java Quick Starter, as well as following the instructions through Control Panel and all the other troubleshooting tips but it doesn't work?

Any other suggestions?

Please try the following.
- Go to control panel
- Add remove programs
- Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
- Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
- Reboot (even if you're not told to)
- Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.

Yeah this was the last thing I decided to try, but it works now. It was enabled in every place possible but it just wouldn't work. Thanks for the reply though Nick

Ive searched the forums and found a few issues relating to similar issue to mine but wanted to post anyway so sorry if i didnt find the correct place, So ill post here.

I have recently updated my java and ever since my game play runs really slow and make the game seem slow - similar to what we would normally call 'lag' i deleted this and went back to an older version and this was better. Why would this happen? Im currently on windows XP. Please help

i have a friend who has just said this to me on msn could anyone please give any solutions. i am on my home page, that is fine, next to home page it says play, when i click play the screen pops up where there should be a pool table but it is black. any help that someone may give will be much appreciated thank you

i had this problem before,either wait a few minutes for it to pop up, if this fails delete java and re-install the problem should then be solved
