Hi all, after 16 players for a quick tournament that i would like to last no longer then a week so prefferabley people that log on regularly at gmt evenings time to prevent byes.

format;

straight knock out
best of 3 for all rounds
home advantage (except final) gets to pick which game format they would like, all 3 frames must be the same.
Final is neutral, pick 1 discipline each, if tied, remaining game is to be played as the decider
Draws done at random.

This is designed just to be something slightly different, but more importantly quick and just a bit of fun.

Draw will be made as soon as 16 show an interest, if 1st game isnt played within 2 days, i will investigate and either award a bye or replace none active player.

Post if interested and will make a genuine inerest to get games played as soon as poss....its only 3 frames so not too taxing!

I'm interested, but shouldn't the final just be 1 of each?

final is 1 of each, but to solve arguing to which should be played 1st, (as it may be over in 2 frames) 9 will only be played as the deciding frame!

but you havent said which should be played first - only what should be last
and shouldn't it be 'home advantage' or one player picks first frame other player picks 2nd (and 3rd wouldnt need picking)

I will do the draw tomorrow night regardless of how many people have entered seen as its just a flying tourny, if all agree it works i'll run 1 every month!
