I use Quinn, although I have had a few problems with this company I still think they are great. As said above it's great to have a second driver as that should decrease slightly, I can admitt the problems have been serious, what happened was they suddenly flopped up an extra £100 for me to pay for some strange reason and when I rung up they wouldn't tell me why, but the problem has been sorted.
So give it a try, I suppose they are not so bad after all.

I think i went on go compare or something, fill the information then get some quotes, it will generate a list and you just work the cheapest from that then ring them up, pretty easy really.
And im suprised if the cheapest you can find is £3000, how bad are you lol

It doesnt matter how good or bad i passed my test, they base it on the area you live, what job you have and how many miles you do. Obviously im in the wrong area and have the wrong job

when adding another driver, put your mom as the main driver and you as a named driver

What kind of car is it that you are insuring? The main factor that will affect the insurance is the group of the car.

Young drivers!?! Arrrgghhhh we're all doooommmed !!
only joking! (and I hope I dont get told off for that)
my biggest piece of advice to the young motorist is if your going to crash, make sure you hit a wall, and not another car. It causes much less hassle, and cost!
darn, Im really not very good at this...
I have hit a wall before though, lost control when I first encountered the famous Hairpin at Skelwith Bridge. That was a £600 lesson, but more importantly I never lost my No Claims!

Quinn Direct were the only company I could find with a decent enough quote.
Before I passed, they were the cheapest, offering me insurance for about 2500, but while I was a learner it was about 900.
When I passed, I rang them & told them and now I'm paying 1400 for a 1.3 fiesta
Unless you're on someone's insurance with alot of no claims discounts etc, it's hard to find cheaper than Quinn.

I cant believe the price of these quotes! When i passed my test only 4 years ago i got insured for £900 on a 1.1 106. Now you seem to be lucky to get insured for under 2 grand!
But now, with only 4 years no claims discount im insured for a group 18 Audi S3 for only 450 a year! Moral of the story: dont crash! Get no claims!!

I went into swinton today and they said that it will be impossible for me to get insurance for under £2000. The guy said its because of all these males young drivers you see on these cop programs racing down streets.
Also the government are trying to get the age put up to 19 for being able to drive so its a bit of a coincidence that as soon as they say that the insurance goes way up. Sounds like they are going to say soon that young drivers cant afford insurance so we may aswell put the age limit up.
Another Moral to the story: No drinking alcohol for jayy as he needs to save up money

Quinn always been useless for me. Ecar are cheap as chips......dont rate the claims process though. I switched to Elephant this year.......extra couple of hundred notes because some tool crashed into my back end and the claim is ongoing.....ill get a nice refund in a month or two when it goes to court though!
£1200 on a Range Rover Sport....the supercharged 4.2 one......im only 22 still, cant complain at that price.......just gotta wait to get my no claims back because without it, its daft money.
Lesson I learnt, never trust someone who admits fault at the scene. Get the coppers there to hear him admit it or he will try and have ya over...........FAIL
