Bought a vauxhaull corsa for £700, insurance is £2,154 or £200 per month with a £250 deposit. Means its about another £300 but i can only afford it per month so it will have to do. Gone with Endleigh as thats been the cheapest all the time. Lets just hope it goes down a little bit with 1 years NCB.

Have you taken driver + lessons, i believe they also help the insurance go down, and i would've said go to quick-fit, my mums always bartering with them and they can knock off 200-500 in just 1 go if you say you've found it cheaper somewhere else

Yeah only some companies offer a decent discount for doing pass plus. I was gonna pay 70 quid for mine, but turns out quinn wont knock much more off than that anyways so wasn't worth it..

I hear they're going into administration now though? ahaaa maybe I'll need to look elsewhere before long.

when you get to my age and have 20 yrs no claims bonus it doesnt matter where you get it - it still only costs around £200 for the year

a lot of young drivers nufc get their parents to insure their cars but you are doing the right thing going on your own

the costs will drop dramatically over the years - so long as you are safe
